Mark: Thanks for the information. In many cases, what is used in terms of technology tools depends on political will rather than the effectiveness of the tool. There are a lot of good tools out there but there is lack of commitment from decision makers. For one reason or another, status quo prevails. That being said, I would have a look at the virtual classroom and perhaps recommend it to my supervisor.
